"if your Netflix queue looks a little shorter today, we have some bad news: Today, the site officially pulled tons of titles that hail from the libraries of Warner Bros., MGM, and Universal, because they're to become completely exclusive to the new streaming service Warner Archive Instant."

I feel like it is inevitable that streaming is going to get to the point that you pretty much pay for all companies/networks seperately. The golden age of streaming cheap will end soon.

that sucks. no more rocky & bullwinkle or reno 911. looks like a bunch of exploitation films & b-movies too, although most on that list don't expire for a week or so.

while you still can, watch the jean rollin vampire films, white dog, and tracks w/dennis hopper, stuff you may not find locally. also, the 1940's superman cartoons are pretty neat if you haven't seen them.

i'm still getting away with streaming pretty much every current tv show i'm watching for free, but if you don't catch it the night it airs or a day or two after all the good links are taken down. the amount of links become fewer every week and the number of sites to stream stuff has dropped drastically in the past few months.

i feel like if you pay for cable, any show thats on any channel you pay for should be available for streaming the same time it airs. i already pay for basic cable (no dvr) then just "illegally" stream my nightly tv shows online. so i don't feel like i'm doing anything wrong. i'm paying to watch those shows, i'm just watching them on a different medium at my leisure. but you are right, the heydays are coming to an end.

I use Hulu, Netflix and my cable company fucked up and didn't cut off my hbo subscription when I got rid of my cable so I still have hbo go.

Other than that ill just download torrents and play them on my tv through windows media center on Xbox

Netflix is getting pretty bad these days. Every couple of years or so we get an urge to try it out again, but it's just disappointing. Amazon Prime is at least a little bit better and doesn't have you disappointed from day one of service. Oh well.
