yeah, just ok may be a compliment. it seemed like it tried to hit all the markers of the genre and "push the envelope" tv-gore-wise, but the acting was mediocre and the dialogue was awful. there were also a couple of dumb continuity errors, but those never bother me if everything else is really good.
these canadian productions may have reached their limit. good looking people in hipster clothing and lush rural exteriors can't substitute for good writing and acting. if the helicopter flyover shots are my favorite part of a show, it's a bad sign. the package looked great, the contents, not so much.
agree on all fronts. some (most) of the dialogue was pretty cringe worthy. also, when the main two dudes were in that warehouse where was that water continuously dripping from? that shit was annoying.
Shit acting, cool premise, wish it had better production value. I only watched 2 episodes so far.
